In this presentation we will show how to use core's Configuration Management together with Config Split contrib module to manage and deploy configuration on a multisite environment.

In our use case, we have to manage 3 sites (A, B, C) on 4 environments (Local, DEV, TST, UAT), with some configuration shared by all websites (default configuration), site specific configuration and also development configuration. When setting up deployments, we have to take into account that development configuration should be available only on Local and DEV environments.

This session refers to an overview of Drupal 8 RESTful Web Services API, in particular regarding RestResource Plugin. Such a topic is very important due to the necessity to provide native iOS/Android apps with content, which in recent years has increased significantly. Moreover, Drupal, with the release of the 8th version, is giving credit to RESTful Web Services, now in Core. Thus I believe this subject will be regarded with interest.

We all face the tedious setup of a project before starting to really do what our job is, be it that it's writing code, designing or testing. Many hours go to waste repeating the same procedures on different machines. Strangely this part in development doesn't get automated enough. It seems like maddness trying to, doesn't it?
